WHISKEY RUN ROME 5K / 10K / HALF MARATHON

Welcome to Rome’s 3rd Annual community race.

A portion of the proceeds benefits TRED (Trails for Recreation and Economic Development), whose mission is to enhance the community’s quality of life and economic development through an accessible, multi-use trail system that promotes eco-friendly recreation and transportation.

3.5 Hour Time Limit for All Distances.
Walkers are welcome for the Half Marathon.

Race Day – April 12 – Sunday

7:45 am – Registration & Packet Pick Up Opens
9:00 am – Half Marathon Start
9:30 am – 10K / 5K Start

Located between the Forum River Center (301 Tribune Street) and the Superior Court of Floyd County at the intersection of Tribune Street and W. 4th Avenue.

Packet Pickup Details

Participant bib and shirt must be picked up at early packet pick-up or on race day.

Follow event signage to parking and the start/finish area.

Course Route

All races start and finish at Rotary Plaza.

5K Turnaround is marked on the 10K course map.

Half Marathon – Two laps of the 10K course plus an additional 1K

Aid Stations

Half Marathon – Miles 1.2, 3.2, 6, 10.2

10K – Miles 1.5, 3, 4.5

5K – Mile 1.5

Stations will be stocked with:

• GU

• Water

• Gatorade

• Fruit

Bathrooms

Bathroom facilities will be available at the start/finish line.

After the Finish Line

Whiskey sampling will take place at La Scala.

A sweet pairing option will also be available.

Directions / Parking

On-Street Parking:
3-hour time limit. Enforced Monday–Saturday from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm.

Off-Street Parking Available:

• 3rd Ave Deck

• 6th Ave Deck

• East 1st Street Lot

Vehicles must be registered at a parking kiosk.
First hour is free.
Additional hours are $1/hour (up to $8 maximum).

Awards will be presented to:

• Top 3 Overall Male and Female finishers

• Top 3 Male and Female finishers in each age group

Participants must be present on race day to receive their award.
